RULES AND REGULATIONS
THE BEAD SHAK’S ARTS & CRAFTS FESTIVAL

Please read the following rules and regulations for THE BEAD SHAK’S ART & CRAFTS FESTIVAL before filling out and submitting your application. Thank You.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Submit 5 photos of the work you will be displaying including one of your booth set-ups and one of your major new products. All work is to be handmade. The artist is expected to attend the festival.
  2. Enclose a check for the booth fee of $50.00 on or before October 10th, 2009.
  3. Complete and sign the application. The HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT must be signed, if you will to participate in the show.
  4. Deadline for application is October 1st, 2009. Confirmation will be sent with available setup time and directions.
  5. There is no buy/sell allowed. Any exhibitor found selling buy/sell, will be asked to leave the festival immediately, without refund.

BOOTH SIZE AND FEES: Your exhibit space will be approximately 10x10 to accommodate tent size no larger than 10x10 and space for storage. The booth fee is $50.00 on or before October 1st, 2009. More than one booth space may rented. No commission is charged; Once you are accepted for the show, your check is non-refundable for any reason. This event is an OUTDOOR show and your space will be located on grass or asphalt. There is no electricity provided.

TAXES: Exhibitors are responsible for collecting and submitting all required taxes. Harrison County currently collects 7% sales tax; this amount may change before the time of the festival Crafters are responsible for any business license fees

SECURITY: We cannot be responsible or liable for any injury in your booth to any customer or exhibitor and/or, loss or damage to property in your booth for any reason. You will be responsible for any insurance coverage for your personal property and/or injury to any customer/persons in your booth.

DISPLAYS, TABLE AND CHAIRS: Exhibitors must bring their own display materials. Tables and chairs are furnished by the exhibitor and must be draped to the ground on all sides. Space must be kept clean and orderly at all times, and must be left clean at the end of the festival. All items not displayed must be kept under tables and out of sight. If your craft causes damage to property in your space, we will hold you financially responsible for the damage that occurs.

SET-UP AND BREAKDOWN: Set-up begins Saturday October 10th at 7:00 am. The show is open to the public from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday, October 10tht. All displays are to remain set up until the close of the festival.

PLEASE LEAVE YOUR BOOTH AREA CLEAN!
THERE IS NO SMOKING ALLOWED ON CHICK-FIL-A PROPERTY. THANK YOU.

The application deadline is October 1st 2009, applications received post marked after the deadline date will be charged a $20.00 late fee and will not be placed with the first jury selection. This may result in certain categories closing.

Check post dated or returned unpaid by the bank will result in Immediate Disqualification, and a fee of $30.00 will be charged.

Pets are not allowed in the festival area at any time.

No sound equipment such as radios, tapes, cd players, stereos are allowed in exhibit area.
